Nielsen Sez Only 3.9% of Our Online Time is Spent with Video

Social sites, gaming and email are the top three online activities according to a Nielsen research piece. Video continues to grow based on the volume of streams and also other platforms. Video streaming on mobile devices grew 20% from last year numbers.

This highlights the nature of the web as defined by users: communication. This is no good news for content producers on video and print who had hoped for a new distribution platform for their libraries. Read the Whole article here
